Our Cardiology Department has a 26-bed ward located on the 1st floor of our hospital. Additionally, our ward includes a 4-bed angiography unit. The coronary intensive care unit has 9 beds and is located on the 2nd floor. The catheterization and angiography laboratory is located right next to the coronary intensive care unit. Approximately 3350 procedures are performed annually in the catheterization and angiography laboratory (angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, catheterization, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation, ICD-CRT procedures, electrophysiology, IVUS-FFR procedures, mitral-pulmonary valvuloplasty procedures, ASD-PDA closure, septal ablation, etc.). For approximately 5 years, our clinic has been providing 24-hour primary percutaneous intervention for acute myocardial infarction cases.
Our outpatient clinic, echocardiography and stress-tilt test laboratories, blood pressure-rhythm Holter laboratories, and faculty offices are located on the 1st floor of our outpatient clinic building. Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, contrast-enhanced echocardiography, and dobutamine stress echocardiography procedures are performed in the echocardiography laboratory.
